We will be hosting a cocktail hour and dinner Sunday evening, February 2nd from 5:30 - 7:30 at the Rooftop Pavilion, Embassy Suites Riverplace.

Monday, February 3rd:

Seminar Registration and Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Seminar will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Elizabeth J. Wysong Berg, Esquire – National Agency VP for Education and Training, FNF

​

Elizabeth is a graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and is licensed practice in the State of Indiana, Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Prior to her current position, Elizabeth was an underwriter in multiple states and in private practice handling title claims for various title insurance underwriters. Her private practice also involved handling real estate transactions and litigation, property and casualty insurance defense, and estate work. Elizabeth is an active member with the American Land Title Association serving as the Chair of the State Legislative/Regulatory Action Committee and on the Digital Closing Task Force Committee. She is a Past President of the Indiana Land Title Association and has served many years on various committees as well as being the Government Affairs Chair and Education Chair. She also is active with the Indiana State Bar Association as the 2024 Probate, Trust, and Real Property Section Chair. Elizabeth has earned the National Title Professional designation from the American Land Title Association and the Indiana Title Professional Designation from the Indiana Land Title Association.  

 

S. Ashley Farr, Esquire – VP/Counsel, CLTIC and FNTIC

​

Ashley received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina at Aiken, graduating cum laude, where he was also an All-American standout on the baseball field. He went on to receive his J.D. from the Charlotte School of Law, where he was a Queen City Merit Scholarship recipient, while graduating cum laude. Ashley is responsible for servicing the underwriting needs in the states of South Carolina and North Carolina and provides sales support for the expanding market in the Carolinas. Farr’s main focus is developing and managing FNF's brand in South Carolina and he is passionate about driving a culture of fresh ideas, growth, and perspective in the rapidly evolving real estate world. Farr brings 15 years of industry experience including serving as State Counsel for another regional underwriter as well as serving as Partner and Managing attorney in a large, high volume, regional real estate firm corporately located in Charlotte, NC. Having represented clients spanning a broad spectrum including residential, commercial, land development, national home builder, and REITs, Farr is well-versed and experienced in the legal, title, and business aspects of the real estate market.

 

Andrew Hooper, Agency Employee Training Coordinator, FNF

​

Andrew serves as Agency & Employee Training Coordinator for the FNF Family of Companies across the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining the title industry, Andrew made a significant impact by training and supporting agents in executing effective strategies that foster growth in the any market. Highly respected for his expertise in customer experience, brand development, artificial intelligence (SI), and online presence, Andrew is frequently invited to speak and train at industry events throughout the region. He currently hosts the “Hanging with the Hoopers” podcast, all about the “Attitude of Leadership”, and serves on the Advisory Board for the Shenandoah University Transformative Leader Program. Prior to joining the title industry in 2021, Andrew served in various leadership roles at JP Morgan Chase. Outside of work, Andrew finds joy in spending quality time with his two young children. He is always open to connecting with others on LinkedIn or in person to foster meaningful professional relationships.

Tim “Hoop” Hooper – VP of Sales & Training, FNF

 

Tim’s passion is reimagining sales culture within the trifecta of real estate: working with title agency owners and their sales teams; real estate brokers and agents; and mortgage companies and loan officers. With an extensive background as a sales rep and team leader, he loves helping sales professionals stand out as the go-to in their local markets by systemizing their proactive connections, streamlining their sales processes for consistency, and finding more focus through teamwork and accountability! Tim enjoys speaking for industry associations and training teams across the country on topics like Energizing Your Sales, Marketing That Matters & The Attitude of Leadership. He’s a John Maxwell-certified coach, host of the Energy4Sales podcast, and author of the GotEnergy series. He would love to connect with you on LinkedIn and in person at one of his speaking events. When not consulting or training, he’s spending his time with his four kids and lovely wife of 17 years, while pursuing his quest to a marathon for charity in every state. He resides in beautiful Central Virginia.

 

Wendy Franklin, Esquire — VP/Counsel, CLTIC and FNTIC     

                 

Wendy received her undergraduate degree from George Mason University and her law degree from the University of South Carolina. Prior to joining the underwriting staff of Fidelity and Commonwealth in 2018, she spent 13 years in private practice where her practice centered on real estate. In addition to her membership in the South Carolina Bar, Wendy is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, the Real Estate Section of the South Carolina Bar, and The South Carolina Women Lawyers Association. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, Tim, and their children, Emily and Cal.

 

Lindsey Gardner, Esquire - AVP/Counsel, CLTIC and FNTIC

​

​Lindsey graduated from Presbyterian College in 2016 with a B.A. in Music and a B.S. in Psychology. After a two-year break, she decided to attend law school. She received her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2021. While in law school, Lindsey was a staff member and Articles Editor of the American Bar Association Section of The Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal. She also worked at a local law firm for two years focusing on real estate, estate planning, and probate while attending law school. Lindsey joined Commonwealth and Fidelity as underwriting counsel in September 2021 following her graduation. She currently lives in Lexington with her dog Opie and enjoys traveling to new places.

Jack Pringle, JD CIPP/US – Nelson Mullins

​

Jack helps companies manage information, address regulatory challenges, and explore potential opportunities in a changing technology landscape. He has more than 25 years of experience assisting businesses, including public utilities, in navigating the legal requirements applicable to their operations. Jack helps organizations design information governance strategies, implement and strengthen information security and privacy programs, and negotiate and manage technology contracts and third-party relationships. In addition to providing contractual and compliance advice and counsel, Jack litigates numerous matters, including licensing and permitting applications and regulatory disputes, before local and state agencies and governmental entities, and in state and federal court.

C. Dawn Watkins, Esquire – VP/Counsel, CLTIC and FNTIC

​

​Dawn graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1997 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2000 and was admitted to the South Carolina Bar the same year.  Prior to joining Commonwealth/Fidelity in 2019, Dawn practiced for 19 years representing clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions and was a founding member of a law firm. In addition to her membership in the South Carolina Bar, Dawn is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, SC Women Lawyers, the Probate, Estate Planning and Trust Section and Real Estate Practice Section of the SC Bar. She currently serves as President-Elect and Chair of the Government Liaison/Legislative Action Committee for Palmetto Land Title Association and as a member of the State Legislative/Regulatory Action Committee for the American Land Title Association. She also serves as President of the Columbia SC Area Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta.

Leslie Wyatt - Director of Regulatory Compliance, SoftPro

​

Leslie Wyatt is the Director of Regulatory Compliance at SoftPro. She began her career in the real estate industry over 20 years ago, and joined SoftPro in 2002. She currently oversees the Compliance Department with her primary focus being on all regulatory issues at the Federal, state and county levels. Leslie is a member of the ALTA Implementation Task Force, the Title Action Network Steering Committee, the ALTA Government Affairs Committee, the ALTA Membership Committee (Mentorship Subcommittee), the ALTA Education Committee, the ALTA Our Values Committee, the HOP Committee, and the TLTA Federal Issues Committee. She has represented ALTA at a congressional briefing regarding the CFPB and the TRID changes.  Leslie travels though out the country speaking on our industry’s hot topics with a focus on market trends, mentorship and leadership, AI in the Title Industry, the next generation of title experts, and regulatory and compliance.  Leslie continuous to work with the CFPB on various projects regarding TRID, MISMO and other industry topics.
