SPEAKERS
​Elizabeth J. Wysong Berg, Esquire – National Agency VP for Education and Training, FNF
​
Elizabeth J. Wysong Berg is the National Agency Vice President for Education & Training at FNF Family of Companies. Previously, Elizabeth was an underwriter in multiple states and in private practice handling title claims for various title insurance underwriters. Her private practice also involved handling real estate transactions and litigation, property and casualty insurance defense, and estate work.
​
Elizabeth is a graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and is licensed to practice in the State of Indiana, Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Elizabeth is an active member with the American Land Title Association serving as the Chair of the State Legislative/Regulatory Action Committee and on the Digital Closing Task Force Executive Committee. She currently is a Past President of the Indiana Land Title Association and has served many years on various committees as well as being the Government Affairs Chair and Education Chair. She also is active with the Indiana State Bar Association. Elizabeth has earned the National Title Professional designation from the American Land Title Association and the Indiana Title Professional Designation from the
Indiana Land Title Association.

Mary Pat Dunlevy - SVP/Agency Division Manager - FNF
​
Mary Pat is an Agency Divisional Manager with Fidelity National Financial, representing the title underwriters: Chicago, Commonwealth and Fidelity National Title. Her area of responsibility includes Florida, South Carolina and the US Virgin Islands. She has been in the title industry since 1987, spending the last 28 years with the Fidelity National Financial Family of Companies. Over the course of her career, she has held various sales and management roles.
She has been a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Orlando since 2000, served on the Board six terms and in 2012 was the CREW Orlando President. Since 2010, she has been a member of the University of Florida Real Estate Advisory Council and she served on the Executive Committee of the Advisory Board from 2013-2016. In early 2022, she chaired the University’s annual Real Estate Trends Conference and in 2023-2024 was the chair of the Advisory Board.
She has been married 37 years, has two sons, ages 23 and 28, loves to travel and is a huge dog lover. Her husband strongly prefers that she does not visit animal shelters or pet stores.

​S. Ashley Farr, Esquire – VP/Counsel, CLTIC and FNTIC
​
Ashley received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina at Aiken, graduating cum laude, where he was also an All-American standout on the baseball field. He went on to receive his J.D. from the Charlotte School of Law, where he was a Queen City Merit Scholarship recipient, while graduating cum laude. Ashley is responsible for servicing the underwriting needs in the states of South Carolina and North Carolina and provides sales support for the expanding market in the Carolinas. Farr’s main focus is developing and managing FNF's brand in South Carolina and he is passionate about driving a culture of fresh ideas, growth, and perspective in the rapidly evolving real estate world. Farr brings 15 years of industry experience including serving as State Counsel for another regional underwriter as well as serving as Partner and Managing attorney in a large, high volume, regional real estate firm corporately located in Charlotte, NC. Having represented clients spanning a broad spectrum including residential, commercial, land development, national home builder, and REITs, Farr is well-versed and experienced in the legal, title, and business aspects of the real estate market.
​Wendy Franklin, Esquire — VP/Counsel, CLTIC and FNTIC
Wendy received her undergraduate degree from George Mason University and her law degree from the University of South Carolina. Prior to joining the underwriting staff of Fidelity and Commonwealth in 2018, she spent 13 years in private practice where her practice centered on real estate. In addition to her membership in the South Carolina Bar, Wendy is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, the Real Estate Section of the South Carolina Bar, and The South Carolina Women Lawyers Association. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, Tim, and their children, Emily and Cal.
Lindsey Gardner, Esquire - AVP/Counsel, CLTIC and FNTIC

​Lindsey graduated from Presbyterian College in 2016 with a B.A. in Music and a B.S. in Psychology. After a two-year break, she decided to attend law school. She received her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2021. While in law school, Lindsey was a staff member and Articles Editor of the American Bar Association Section of The Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal. She also worked at a local law firm for two years focusing on real estate, estate planning, and probate while attending law school. Lindsey joined Commonwealth and Fidelity as underwriting counsel in September 2021 following her graduation. She currently lives in Lexington with her dog Opie and enjoys traveling to new places.

Paul D. de Holczer - Assistant Chief Counsel - SCDOT
Paul was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1994. He received his education at Presbyterian College (B.A.), Central College (London Program); University of South Carolina (M.A., International Studies; J.D.), and Corvinus University of Budapest (Summer Program). He has represented landowners as well as condemnors in eminent domain cases. Among other projects, he served as condemnor’s counsel on the Southern Connector (I-185), the Conway Bypass/Veterans Highway (SC-22/I-74), the Carolina Bays Parkway (SC-31) and the Ravenel Bridge (US-17) projects. Paul has lectured on eminent domain law for the South Carolina Bar, the University of South Carolina School of Law, the Charleston School of Law, Presbyterian College, the International Right of Way Association (Carolinas Chapter), and for several professional education firms. He authored the South Carolina chapter for The Law and Procedure of Eminent Domain in the 50 States (2012), published by the American Bar Association and he contributed to the Treatise on the Law of Easements in South Carolina, Second Edition (2025), published by the South Carolina Bar. He is currently Assistant Chief Counsel at the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT).

Sam Trimble - VP, Strategic Growth and Development, FNF

Sam helps companies grow. As Vice President of Strategic Growth and Development with Fidelity National Financial, Sam has worked with hundreds of title companies, law firms and lenders, and thousands of real estate agents across the United States helping them navigate the constantly shifting sectors of marketing, sales, and technology. One size does not fit all, and Sam brings simple, executable, and attainable steps that can help any real estate industry related business grow its client base and create raving fans of its current customers, regardless of market conditions.

C. Dawn Watkins, Esquire – VP/Counsel, CLTIC and FNTIC
​
Dawn Watkins is a seasoned legal professional with over two decades of experience in real estate law. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina in 1997, followed by her Juris Doctor from the USC School of Law in 2000 and was admitted to the South Carolina Bar the same year. Before joining Commonwealth/Fidelity, Dawn spent 19 years in private practice, where she focused primarily on real estate transactions, building a reputation for integrity, precision, and client-centered service.
Dawn currently serves as President for the Palmetto Land Title Association and actively participates in two ALTA workgroups: State Advocacy Network and Title Action Network. Dawn is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Richland County Bar Association and South Carolina Women Lawyers. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
